Mindfulness is present moment non-judgmental awareness. There are multiple systems you can use to practice mindfulness. Preethi Balan teaches the Unified Mindfulness system which is a secular and flexible system to practice mindfulness not just on the cushion but in daily life. Stressed because of your workload, boss, family situation, learning to practice mindfulness can help you experience relief. Mindfulness also enhances the flavor of your existing experiences (like time spent with your toddler, time spent sipping your cup of coffee, just being instead of doing), which we tend to neglect or trivialize in pursuit of happiness at a future time.

What is Mindfulness Coaching?

Mindfulness coaching works with the client to offer support in building a consistent practice. The coach teaches various techniques and the client brings back reports to discuss based on the practice application. Based on the client feedback the coach journeys with the client to support with the right kind of practice for their lifestyle and life situation.

Why is it necessary?

Building a consistent practice is the key challenge in mindfulness. And this requires techniques or tools that suits a person individually. Coaching helps address both these points as well as responding to specific life challenges.

Goals

  1. Learning simple meditation and mindfulness techniques.
  2. Support with building a consistent practice
  3. Experience relief from stress, anxiety, increased sense of well-being, better understanding of self and better management of relationships

Practice time is 10 mins every day, audio guidance will be provided for the same. Ideal group size is 12-15 individuals, this helps increase the level of interaction and sharing the group.

Besides this stand-alone session can be offered to corporates and groups on specific topics like stress, mindful eating and others.

Group Coaching

These sessions are for 90 mins once a week.  Group size is a max of 10 participants. Each session  covers the teaching of one technique, a guided meditation and a feedback module that checks in how each participant is faring, their challenges, reports and Q&A. Group sessions are  beneficial in fostering a community spirit that provides encouragement and support towards building  consistency in the practice.

The coach will be your accountability buddy in supporting you with your practice and will journey with you in the process of developing mindfulness. 2 drop-in sessions offered online every day (10 mins each time), which you can join and practice along with the coach live through the year.

Individual Coaching

Highly personalized coaching based on your needs. This starts with an intake session to understand your broad goals and objectives behind practicing mindfulness following which a session plan would be discussed. Each session thereafter would involve a technique introduction, guided meditation and report discussion. The process is highly interactive and collaborative. The coach will be your accountability buddy in supporting you with your practice and will journey with you in the process of developing mindfulness. 2 drop-in sessions offered online every day (10 mins each time), which you can join and practice along with the coach live through the year.

Speaking Engagements can be on specific topics like introduction to mental wellness, mindfulness practice, stress management, mindful eating, mindful listening, mindfulness at work place etc.
